Gut Check

At weight watchers I stepped on the scale and gained 1.8 pounds.

I was heartbroken!

It has been months of exercise and watching the things I ate.

I had to ask myself the question.

Why was I not losing weight?

I took a picture of myself from today and compared it to one in June.

Gut check time!

I realized that I have toned down my abs.

Changed fat to muscle.

It may not show in the numbers but it shows in pictures!

I have to keep working at it!

  1. Looking good! I have learned even at goal weight that the numbers on the scale may not always reflect the work that we are doing. Keep up the good work.

  2. Yay, Kim!! You look wonderful! When you work out as hard and as much as you do, you can’t pay attention to the scale. I’ve mentioned before that my trainer is 180 lbs. and she wears a size 8 pants. She’s solid muscle and you we all know that muscle weighs more than fat! You look great!

  3. You look great! All your hard work shows. Forget the numbers on the scale focus on how you look and feel, and how much healthier you are today 🙂

  4. Keep doing the right things and you’ll do fine. You look great, and you know you’re making good progress. Don’t let that damn scale get you down!
